While one can only hope, the tragedy that would become of such a sequel would be certain.
And the point of this thread, besides whining and complaining, is?
bay is already directing TF3, quit being stupid
He's directing it.
That doesn't automatically condemn the sequel to "tragedy."
People, believe it or not, learn from mistakes. That's 50% of creating things: learning what works and what doesn't, and altering it for your next production. Believe it or not, Bay listens to viewer feedback.
1) He is directing it.
2) He is NOT the antichrist of filmmaking who makes anything he touches RUINED FOREVER.
3) Considering he's taking a franchise based on essentially toys and making it appeal to a wide demogrpahic, he hasn't done a bad job.
All I ask is that he tone down the toilet humor for this one.
Hes going to direct TF3 and any sequels it has.
Live with it, and stop complaining, we have has enough threads about this.
If he weren't to direct HE WOULDN'T HAD MAKE IT OFFICIAL IN HIS OWN WEBSITE IN THE FIRST PLACE !!!!
Okay, ROTF sucks ass. I get that. Please stop whining about Micheal Bay. I'm more worried about who's writing that directing to be honest.
Didn't he himself announce the date of the movie? and doesn't he pull in about $75 million per movie?
Such negativity towards Bay about a movie.
Maybe he, forget it.
Does Bay learn from his mistakes? Well, his track record doesn't seem to offer much hope, but don't let that stop you believing.
Though I think there's a good chance it'll turn out better than ROTF.
He had more robots, more robot screen time, more robot action, made Prime hardcore instead of weak, and less focus on the humans. Those were in response to the major gripes people had about the first one. This time, it was the unnecessary, overdone toilet humor and the relatively weak main bad guy. I think he might just tone down the stupid humor, and, if the rumors of who the next main Decepticon threat is end up true, then he could definitely make a pretty wicked bad guy.
