I really have no interest in this. The original looked close enough to the cartoon, and there's classics/universe to look forward to.

But every time I see that Wheelie, I want it more. Why? WHY??

While it does look cool, I still prefer the Universe version that we'll be getting in August. Also, I honestly don't see anything "perfect" about it's transformation, so the name doesn't fit in imo.

"Perfect" refers to the ability to transform without removing any major parts or something like that...

I like this one a lot better than the Universe one. I won't get either, but if I had to pick...

While that may be, I personally don't think that makes it "perfect". Improved transformation suits it better imo, but then again, the origional toy isn't all that hard to improve with modern technology.

The fact it looks exactly like the cartoon isn't enough for you?

Did you say the same stuff about Masterpiece Prime too?

"It's a great toy, but it's no Michelangelo. Masterpieces are paintings!"

It's the term that was given. I know it can be traced to Valks (1/48 vs. 1/60 Yamatos) but it's probably even older than that. I can come up with a list of other terms that were coined before we could do anything about it that make no sense (leap year, for example, has an extra day. It has nothing to do with leaping in the sense of leaping, much like perfect transformation having nothing to do with being perfect in the sense of being perfect.)

People, can we get the thread back on-topic? I was stating my opinion, nothing more.

Those things look sweet. Although, that's too much for me to spend on a fragile assemble-it-yourself kit. M Sipher on the Allspark boards said it was pretty delicate, and would take lots of work to actually put them together (making holes for pins, shaving away bits for the joints to work, etc).

I'm just amazed that TT or Hasbro haven't head-hunted this guy!

Imagine what he could do with their resources behind him!
