What's off with PF Cyclonus' face? It seems pretty spot on.[IMG]

My only nitpick is the lack of ratchets for the outward movement of the legs...

The face and the helmet part are off, particularly the area beside his cheeks and jaw. It shouldn't flare out that far. The proportions look off to me because he's a bit too lean below the chest compared to other toys. Just some honest criticism from an FT fan.

    Oh come on.

You know you are all secretly extra interested in this particular take on Cyclonus because he comes with IDW parts.

This one by far. I love the actual cartoon colors. That's why I'm getting Meteor, as a replacement for my out of date MP Starscream

Also I hope he's larger then Galvatron. I prefer him ultra Magnus scale. Maybe star saber. He's a big space jet.

I hope is not! I am not willing to wait for years for a figure no matters how good it looks!

i agree, xtb seems to hold the title for simultaneous face-accuracy and shite transformation/thin, bendy plastic. but i have eligos and i think ill stop there.
FT's seems to have thin(ner) legs and i agree that the face sculpt is a tad off. i do like the extra head though.
FT has been really good lately with their movie character face sculpts when in the grey/CAD/proto stage. but when they get painted they seem to lose something. i was loving kup until the final version came out.

The problems seem to be that his face looks to get blown out of his helmet (instead of being carved in) and also because he doesn't have the helmet edge.

Even though, tbh, I think that PF's face looks better than the XTB one; even without the edge.

I don't get the "his face looks wrong" comments.
    His face NEVER looked right!

Due to his head's shape, he was drawn differently in every single scene.

Personally, I think Quietus' sculpt is amazing (especially the face), miles better than Eligos (who as the only option so far, does look phenomenal…),
But Quietus is one of my most anticipated releases of 2018, and can't get here fast enough!!!

From now on, I will call "it" my fucking sword.

My Wife will be unamused when I take a stab at her.

I think his eyes are a bit too wide and his nose too square..Also his abdomen seems to be weay too recessed making him look skeletal(is that a word?)

Oh Gawd, you got me LMAO at my desk. Your pic is so crude that it works so well haha. Truely a work of art.

As for the G1 headsculpt, yes it does look a bit off, as the face is pushed out too much, but I don't really care, as I will be utilizing the IDW headsculpt.
Was never a fan of Cyclonus until IDW's take, but I do understand the views of the individuals that want the figure for G1 display.
Hopefully PF can fix the G1 helmet before release without pushing back release, but we will never know when they plan to release this guy.

@TRANZ4MR, yeah his helmet shape does change from scene to scene and in the various media, but I think eVac Z is right in identifying the off-element as the poppy-out face. We probably all have our preferences for helmet shape, but regardless of helmet shape, the face is always "within" the helmet and doesn't bulge out like what's happening with the PF render.
