PE needs to make an adapter so this guy can fit onto TR Fort Max.

Yeah, because the one thing TR Fort Max needs is a worse looking head.

    LOL :rolleyes2

Warden's head looked cool as hell when the only other option was G1 Max.

But now it looks like shit.

    hahaha really?

    Not a difficult decision.

Each to their own, I still think the warden head looks better.

Agreed, Warden does look better. That being said though, I do not think Warden's Fortress head mode will not look that good on TR Fortress Maximus. More reasons I'd love to see PE take a crack at their first City-bot to go with this bad-boi.

    HAHAHA! Really. :rolleyes2

Warden still looks better to me. (Sorry Hasbro team and Hasui). I'll still buy Fort Max though. The extra badass-ness of the Warden alt and robot modes will be nice to have as well.

You're absolutely right. Warden still looks significantly better in every respect. Easy decision.

Honestly, I like Cerebros much better than Warden. Problem with Warden is he was too detailed to be on the G1 figure and and I don't think it would look good on the TF figure. I will say I always wanted an cartoon style Cerebros. I sold mine a while ago, but I never had the kit for his legs. It looks like that fixed the proportion issues I had with Warden. No getting past the quality of Warden, probably one of the best 3rd party figures in that respect.

The "problem" you believe this fig has is one of its greatest assets and it is one of the, among many other, reasons people were attracted to Warden.

More detail is never a bad thing. Thinking things have to remain as the bland, 80's standards, is.

To each there own. I prefer the less detailed look of CW and TR figures over the Movie figs for example. Also as a stand-alone Warden is fine, if you place him against other 3rd party figs (MMC for example). Also I said on the G1 and TR FM, you can glance at it and tell that it's got a completely different design aesthetic. It's not even like it blends in on the G1 fig.

Nothing wrong with preference. We each have our individual tastes and no one will be wrong for it.

However, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this figure based soley on its abundance of details.

You are aware this wasn't design to fit G1-Sunbow to begin with, correct? This was aimed more toward IDW (which 100% solidifies this with that upgrade kit). Luckily, those that wish for a more simple design are welcomed to invest toward TR Fortress Maximus.

No I get that. Again Warden is a good figure, but as a replacement head, I like the TR and G1 figures better. It's a nice nod to the original, but I would rather have had it not turn into a head and form a better tank, or have less parts forming.

You look at them side by side, and the TR Max head looks like a character's face.

The Warden head mode looks like a squeaky chew toy.

I agree. Warden ain't bad for what it is, but I prefer the cleaner look of the TR noggin.
