Nice pics. I had the blue one on preorder but dropped it. I really like PE's stuff, but IDK. Something wasn't catching me. I wish the visor looked better too. But I may get the eventual dark color repaint. Again, great pics!

Yea, I shaved the nubs down some on one leg, and the other one just works fine out of the box.

I definitely wish the visor was better. it's really odd. I also wish the faces were white instead of pink and blue.

Sorry if this was asked already, but can the blue version ride the pink version, or the reverse?

Anyone have any tips on how to put the ammo magazine into the rifle. I've tried force and heating the plastic, all no go.

What, really? Don't heat the plastic. There's grooves under the torso that the ridges in the top of the ammo clip slide into. Mine clips into place perfectly.. :-S

Hm torso? Maybe we are talking about two different things? :)  I am trying to assemble the big rifle and I have been unable to put in the magazine.

Whoops! Where's my brain -.- so sorry! Yeah, that's weird too, though; it should go in no problem.

What I do for situations like this is I get one of those emery boards from ladies' cosmetics that has like 7 different grades on it. I very, very lightly sand it with each number from seven on down. By the time you get to one you've usually polished the plastic to the point that it looks flawless, maybe even mirrored. If you took it slow you'll have worn down just enough to allow for a fit that's still snug. By doing it that way, you ensure that you're not scratching the hell out of your expensive toy. I use those boards for customizing, repairs.. they're invaluable. :)  Hope that helps!

Yeah, got a blue one and the slots on mine and the magazine don't fit very well. Thanks for the suggestions, but I am getting tired of having to modify things on my own.

Sandpaper if it's too tight. Floor polish if it's too loose.

Those two things are godsend for doing slight modifications to my toys.

I dunno, but I have to fix things on my oficial toys as much or even more than 3rd party toys, specially loose joints.

Ok tried sandpaper, and I now have a complete rifle. Thanks for the suggestion. Maybe it's my luck, my last 3 third party products: First Edition Hercules, Yellow Maketoys Giant, and now this, all of which requires some fixes. My last 10 or so Takara/Hasbro products, no problems whatsoever.

I've just picked up KM 03 Cyclops, will attempt to transform him tomorrow. Knock wood, hopefully no issues.

    I have but one question.

Where's the best (cheapest) place for a UKer to buy this?

I wasn't fussed before this thread finally popped up (though I lament that I have indeed been searching for it since the blue one released), but I must haves this beauty for my classics shelves now.

Well, add me to the list of folks who just got this figure and almost IMMEDIATELY had one of the bipod legs shear right off the part.

It is inexcusable that Perfect Effect attached those parts with such TINY, TINY pegs. When I saw how miniscule the peg was I was not at all surprised that it had happened.

Thankfully Robot Kingdom should be sending me a replacement part, but I'm still annoyed and will probably just put the new part right in the box to avoid any further issues.

Otherwise this is a very nice toy. A shame that "Perfect Effect" doesn't quite live up to the name.

I got mine right away too (blue version) and haven't had any problems with it at all.

my legs will not lock, so I'm not going to mess with it. I nearly broke off one of the legs trying.

Robot Kingdom worked out slighty cheaper than Kapow, I paid £55 delivered for mine, Kapow has her for £65. Took about a week to arrive. She is glorious too.

Oh that's really good! I was hoping I'd find her for something like that, thanks :D

EDIT: Kinda weird that there's a ~$10 difference between registered parcel and small packet. Especially considering the size of the parcel wouldn't actually change....

Think I might order the Igear stuff from RK too!
