Yes but it appears to have been quietly cancelled. It was originally shown as pc-15, but when pc-15 went up for preorder it was the new head/godmaster/thigh filler set. Nothing about their original pc-15 has been shown since the first rendered pic with the shadowed out pmop

If you "vote with your wallet", you are sending an incorrect message to Wal Mart, not HASBRO. By silently not buying a figure is telling the retailer that nobody wants that product any more and encourages cancellation.

Is this still a thing? This was pc-15 but nothing has been heard or seen of it since this image. Pc-15 ended up being the godmaster/head/thigh filler upgrade so myself and others assumed this was shelved after Takara announced their godbomber

 

I love this, and as long as it fits with Takaras God Bomber then Im in for two ( one for each kid ). My only small complaint is I wish the smokestacks were in the back like the cartoon, but other than that , I love this. This is what Takara should have done in the beginning. Part of the whole draw for me back in the day was that you had the ability to have classics prime ( or pretty close to it ) but also be able to power him up to super mode to take on Galvatron !

 

 Aside from TR Optimus and Legends Ginrai this would go great with Magnus Prime

Same way as before I think. This figure has a backpack that appears to have the same doors and head plate as the stock cab.

Yeah, this would be perfect, standing next to Super Ginrai as a visual expression of his evolutionary steps of character growth, as portrayed in MasterForce ; the show that many, unfortunately missed.

The position of the smokestacks is genius btw ; the G1 toy has those unsightly hinges - this toy now has similar tube shapes, but they actually mean something now.

 

Quite true, communication on product design and quality needs to be between the consumer and the producer. Granted, you may not know if they're going to listen for a while, but as Hasbro's recent shifts in theme and design indicate they aren't totally deaf to the the consumer and are trying fill wants they shoved aside for years.

But this being about an unofficial product it takes a slightly different turn, as the producers probably do take a lot more active looks at forums and take feedback from there. It's doubly important to give them useful criticism and points.

Looks great! I might have got him even if I didn't have Ginrai. He looks like he's still compatible with Godbomber, so here's hoping!

So, I guess it goes without saying, but there is a 100% chance I pick this up. For as small as it must be, it looks amazing. I dare say this would be worth it even without the trailer section. With the trailer section, it makes a fantastic classic into a masterpiece.

I love that the sculpt is pure Ginrai. It would have been a very easy trap to fall into to give him an optimus chest and forearms.

 

I thought this looked awesome until i noticed the smokestacks on the front of his chest. That looks ******ed. Why would they do that?

I know between me and a few of my friends I am in the minority, but personally the few liberties (the smokestacks being one I see may have been needed for the super mode) allow for this Ginrai to stand out compared to Optimus Prime on a shelf even further. Enough to the point that even at a glance you can tell they aren't the same guy.
