Question for those doubting, why would perfect effect make this and it not work with godbomber? They know they would lose sales. The also have the stock figure to base measurements and such off of. The chances of this not working with godbomber are pretty slim

 

Cos it's unlikely PE has a working godbomber in hand to guarantee forward comparability with it..?

 

They may not have a working godbomber but they do have a working super ginrai that they can take dimensions from

 

It is highly possible they will end up just making their own version of God Bomber at some point that will work with the Legends Ginrai + PC-16. If they do that though, they should have just made their own Ginrai from scratch too.

 

I think the issue is that PE can't possibly know what the inside back of the Godbomber chestplate is, such as how hollow and how much space they can work with. Not knowing that, they just have to guess how much their Powermaster can stick out and not prevent the Godbomber chest from sitting flush with Super Ginrai.

 

This is what has be excited, it really makes him feel like Ginri, and not PMOP doing double-duty as Ginrai

The new chest piece has a cutout for the godmaster instead of it being molded into the chest piece. IF and I'm saying if perfect effect did their homework then I doubt the godmaster sticks out more than the original molded piece on the chest. Like I said they may not have godbomber but they do have super ginrai to base their dimensions on

Well, yes of course it does seem pretty simple, but it's not. Consumer silence leads to decline in product quality, often sharp and significant. Should feedback be presented in a constructive manner? Yes it should, am I guilty of not doing so, of course, I'm human, it happens. But preaching "silence" and "don't buy" is not constructive.

 

Godbomber's interior surfaces can't extend past where the stock Super Ginrai's parts are, otherwise its armor mode won't work properly. So as long as Perfect Effect Ginrai's chest mode is the same size, it should be compatible.

PE doesn't need Godbomber to measure - they just have to make their Ginrai's "balled-up truck" mode fit in the same space as the integrated cab on the stock figure.

The only exception I can imagine would be the issue of how and where the wings attach. If they use elements of the Super Ginrai cab portion to connect to SG, then PE would have to see how they attach so they can replicate the connection point(s) on their figure. But otherwise, I don't see any real need for them to examine a Godbomber in order to create a viable replacement cab.

I'm sure they'll get it worked out.

 

I'm pretty sure the wings stay attached to godbomber even in the god ginrai configuration, wasn't there a pic a page ago that showed them seperate and bomber had the wings attached

Edit: yep wings seem to stay on godbomber and not actually connect to super ginrai

 

Weren't they working on their own version of Godbomber for Hasbro's PMOP?
