Perfect Effect PC-15 PMOP add-on

 

The wait is killing me. I am waiting, wallet in hand, to get some robot mode pics.

My wish list:

1. Apex Armor
2. G1 style chest (for varieties sake)
3. G1 style Black Cannons
4. Transforming Cab (not my thing but I know people want this).

 

I just want some updates, they were pretty quick with all their combiner wars stuff but all we've gotten for Titans return so far are essentially rescales of older fort max kits and this tease.

 

I'll be definitely getting this for PMOP. I've got Super Ginrai on pre-order, so he'll get his Godbomber armor from Takara.

 

Maybe. Who's to say that Takara will do that. Maybe PF will do another for Ginrai or it will somehow be universal.

 

My guess is they are waiting for the Takara one to make sure it works with both of them.

I hope not though, I feel like this figure begs for upgrades, with all the pegs and plugs, but very little 3rd party companies are answering the call.

 

I'm waiting on the Takara one, mostly because it's more colorful and the remolding is nice. I won't buy it until I'm sure this is compatible with it, though.

 

I imagine that is what is keeping perfect effect from updating; they don't know the impact the Takara version will have on their upgrade kit.

I like the Takara version (except the feet), it's very retro, but not $95 like it. Who knows maybe I'll change my mind on it once it's released.

 

I still don't understand why people don't like the feet. They aren't THAT narrow. I just hope the ankles give more support than the bars holding the TR version's feet on. Those flat out scare me.

Well I can only speak for myself, but my problem with the feet is they don't look like feet/boots. Instead they look like nubs. I mean it's nothing a boot upgrade kit wouldn't solve, but now a $95 figure turned into a $140 figure.

 

That's how PMOP/Super Ginrai's feet are supposed to look, though. He's never had "traditional" feet, but those vertical wedges for toes. Would look better if the wheels were closer to the ground, though, because what's throwing it off is that he's missing all the heel mass of the original toy.

 

yeah that's the reason, but maybe they should have just kept the US feet, G1 traditional look be dammed.

 

I've already got it on preorder. It may not be worth the $95 but I want it.

 

I really hope they're at least considering releasing a Takara-compatible version down the line. If they don't... well, dang.
