Between Hasbro mysterious "Apex", what Takara might do, and Peferct Effect, I'm just happy to see Powermaster / Ginrai, getting some modern and more affordable love.

 

I'd be tempted by this upgrade if I wasn't a fan of 'regular' PMOP. I wouldn't mind a few simple add-ons and replacement parts, though.

I'll just wait and buy the Titans Returns Godbomber/Ginrai/Apex figure when it comes out sometime next year.

 

Ah, if that's how Hasbro is going to play it, this version may be worthwhile for this iteration of Powermaster Prime.

Though your talking MMC here do you realize how long it would take for them to even release it I doubt they even do it really cause typically it seems for them to take 3 or more years to release something they show....

 

Why it's fine as is its supposed to be an another suit for ultra magnus plus it looks awesome theres nothing bad about it really...

 

What is not surprising, if people chose to know me, is that I will pass on this product. I am trying to not collect 3P, and I also found my collection's groove.

Which surprises me, because of that, is that I am hoping that TakaraTomy will have one version of "Powermaster Optimus Prime" be a follow-up to "Nucleon Quest Super Convoy". And have that version of Convoy be an "enhanced" version of Hi-Q.

 

I did mention it on their Facebook page. Of course now I think about it did IDW give magnus that upgrade to reflect an up coming add on hasbro themselves are putting out.

So this will eventually get repainted into Magnus Ginrai, then then perhaps back to Prime a year later. Check post #2 for reference.

 

I bet this will be more expensive than the main figure.

Probably, it will have to be pretty amazing to justify the $60+ price tag it will likely have.

Mmmmhhhmmm I never had the original Powermaster Optimus and so I was considering the T/R version just for the sake of it....I only collect masterpiece now but this is hella tempting

Yep. Was gonna pass on TM Prime, but now I'm not sure.

Glad I haven't sold my Takara Magnus yet. Think I'll hold on to him now as well...

 

Gonna need to get two of PM Optimus (hopefully one on sale) for this armor. Can't wait. Been a while since I have purchased an upgrade to a classics style figure.
