I'm getting sea sick watching the video. What is going on with the camera constantly bobbing up and down

 

I honestly can't figure out why it does that. I'm getting a new camera soon anyway, so it won't be a problem in the future.

 

Can't see the pictures are the site. It takes too long to load them. Maybe the site's broken?

I had no problem with it. It seemed steady to me.

 

Cheers. Methinks they used a crafty blob of blutac or similar adhesive putty, just to show what it should/will look like in the future. I doubt they found a better way.

Got this today and i have to say, totally not worth the cost. The head looks good but the color doesn't match. The battery directions are wrong. Ginrai falls apart if you even look at him funny. The leg fillers work great though....

 

Got this kit yesterday and I really like it. You have to be delicate with little Ginrai though. When transforming him first time I popped his leg off the ball joint and the red thigh piece came out of the hip piece. I thought I'd broke it. After that I was being very careful because I thought he was gonna break at any second. I like that he's small but it does make it difficult when handling him.

The thigh fillers are great and fit really well. The head is good and the light up eyes feature is nice. I thought it was going to be like MP Optimus Primal's eyes like when you turn them on they turn off after a few seconds. But they stay on until you press the button again.

I do agree with others about it being overpriced, but it's a great little upgrade kit and if you don't mind paying the full price, I definitely recommend it.

 

Would a bit of nail polish on the joints and some (re?) glueing of the (red?) parts together help Hi-Q stay together more?

Could someone post some areas that need "fixing" on the figure, please?

Definitely looks much better than the Takara design based on the G1 super RV with wings and a missile design...I would MUCH rather have an APEX/Bomber that looked like this, especially with another set of kick@$$ dual guns, so we could have a shoulder set AND a leg set in combined mode...PLUS (potentially) a more dynamic APEX/Bomber bot mode.

I seriously Hope PE decides to come back to this and continue with it...I just don't know if I like the combined mode enough to pay $70+shipping for Takara's RV...I KNOW I hate the "vehicle" design, just as much as the G1 version, and while the bot mode looks decent and bland, I KNOW these whiny bitches will start in about the WIDE OPEN under forearm sections...not simply HOLLOW, but WIDE OPEN UNDERNEATH...and of course crying about the "parts forming"...(like there's another viable way for it NOT to parts form...).

I could care less about those issues, personally, but I loathe the basic "vehicle" design, especially at that price, but THIS version appears to have a better aesthetic in vehicle mode...especially with those twin guns!

I wouldn't say there are areas that need fixing really. Just handle with care. Also the red parts can't be glued because they swivel for transformation.

 

Just got mine in the post this morning. The lower black legs pop off REALLY easily when swiveled, as the ball joint isn't strong enough and/or is ironically too tight?

Also the new Hi-Q figure's engine backpack hinders it from fully sitting down and interacting with the grey double-barreled guns, which is a shame. I add to get him to sit with his legs bent, while carefully moving the legs so they wouldn't pop off. Also, putting the engine inside the cab is really fiddly.

I'm going to add some nail polish to the knee ball joints and see if that works.

I hope someone makes some bigger black and also grey guns for this figure, especially in order to accommodate the new Hi-Q.

 

Knoted has some nice Powermaster Optimus Prime-esque black rifles you should check out.

 

I think the issue with the joints popping is that the sockets seem to be too shallow. He looks great, just seems like they rushed it.
