Be careful when you put the sword on his back. I was takinging it off and the part that holds it to the crossbow broke off. Is still stays on there just not as well.

Some inner back plate broke off right out of box . New one they sent was a spare stock piece with faulty lion head . Lol had to replace and unscrew the head . Fixed and poses

Ugh. I like the body paint on the new one better, but the face sculpt on the old one better. Looks more angry and beastial and less "Optimus but a lion."

 

I think the head on the older one is better as well, they could have just painted the eyes yellow and called it a day . Regarding the newer head sculpt ... it's abit too long and tampered imo to carry the moniker of lioconvoy

 

It's all over the place. I like the head on the new one, the chest on the old one, the gold on the new one, the red on the old one, etc. etc..

 

Yeah, I'm the same. I wish the KO was cheaper so I could use it for parts and Frankenstein one together.

 

Same here. I'm going to wait awhile and see if I can get both cheap on sale or on eBay to swap parts.

Not sure, but if you search Leonidas at TF-direct, the KOs come up too. But $80 is steep for a figure destined to be cannibalized.

 

Gallery finally finished up for this guy. Just need to record the video and it'll go up tomorrow, but honest question; Do you guys want to see the Transformation for this one? Asking because this is like... the 75th release of this base mold.

 

Wouldn't hate seeing it going from beast mode to bot mode. IIRC your first review went from bot to beast.
