I'm and aussie and I just pre-ordered the crap out of this!  

 

Do we know.if his Gorilla wrist shield will detach and attach to his robot mode shoulders? Because the OG toy was show accurate in that respect.. And I can see a bit of what looks like articulation there. Be nice if they did.

 

There's hinges on the forearm shields, so I assume they'll be able to be taken off and attached to the shoulders if you want.

 

So that's about the same in Canadian, $148.

Very reasonable for a figure that size, but... I can't get over the inflated gorilla head. It's like the beast-mode version of when his head went giant in cutting edge.

If there's a shrunken head/cannons version down the line, OR Primal Prime, I'd be interested. But this is OpOp, it's expensive, and inaccurate, so it's a nice-to-look-at-online thing for me for now.

 

I still wish they'd do the Big Convoy that was teased.

Honestly, I'm fine with how it looks. They're not trying to be slavish to the CGI model, more of a reinterpretation of it. He almost has this comic book silhouette going for it with some added heft.

One accessory I kinda wish they included was an Optimal Megatron head or faceplate. Perhaps one day the MP OPOP will include such an accessory, hah.
