Swerve sounds like Wayne Knight. End of discussion
Even though Daran Norris was perfect as Knockout, I've been toying with the idea of Blue Water VA Brendan Hunter as Knockout.
Behind The Voice Actors - Voice Of Jin Magatsu
More or less the flamboyant kind of voice he usually uses mainly as Hisoka in the original Hunter X Hunter anime.
What do you guys think? It does sound maybe a bit young but this is for a Canadian Transformers cast.
Neil Kaplan should voice Star Saber one of these days.
I still think Chuck Huber would make a good Brainstorm, and Scott McNeil would make a good Alchemist Prime. Jerry Jewel would make a good Whirl as well.
I was watching Ben 10 clips and wondering. Do you think Dee Bradley Baker could voice all Constructicons and Devastator?
If you've watched Ben 10 here are some examples:
Scrapper with a kind of menacing Jetray voice.
Bonecrusher with Humungasaur voice.
Scavenger with Chromestone's voice.
Hook with Brainstorm's voice.
Mixmaster a mix between crazy scientist and Spidermonkey.
Devastator, lots of roaring.
And Long Haul... Well he can make up something.
I think Dee Bradley Baker could do almost any voice he wants.... he has a well rounded list of characters on his resume'.
^ I can see him voicing Mindwipe.
I find him more like the new Frank Welker.
Considering they both do creature voices, DBB is essentially a younger Frank Welker.
He did voice some dogs in Rescue Bots but aside from that he has yet to voice a Transformer.
I think he could make an awesome Jetfire using his Clone Trooper voices.
I got some!
George Takei as Vector Prime
Janice Kawaye as Windblade
Greg Eagles as Bludgeon
Kevin Michael Richardson as Tidal Wave
Adam Baldwin as Astrotrain
I dig Janice Kawaye as Windblade.
What if John Goodman and Ken don't want to return to voice their characters? I mean we never saw neither of them talking about Transformers and I'm not sure they're even fans, like Peter Cullen, Will Friedle, Mark Ryan, Jess Harnell and it's very important for a voice actor to be a fan of the franchise because he does everything with the pleasure and gives everything he has!
Eric Bauza can take over as Drift, and Fred Tatasciore as Hound.
Eric Bauza has done a very good job as Drift, and his performance is far superior to Watanabe. I would love Goodman to stay, but if he chooses to leave, Tatascriore would be a decent replacement.
I really hope John DiMmaggio stays as Crosshairs. He was the best movie character we've seen.
He's the most likely to remain, that's why I didn't mention him.
DiMaggio was good as Crosshairs but at the end of the day it's still his Leadfoot voice.
I'd like to see Crispin Freeman or Scott McNeil take a crack at Crosshairs someday.
Dude, Leadfoot already got a different voice in AOE, nobody remembers his DOTM one.
I remember it very well. I still associate that voice with Leadfoot more than Crosshairs since Leadfoot came out first. I like DiMaggio as Crosshairs he was really fun in the role but I would preferred if they had DiMaggio do something else different or cast someone else for Crosshairs.
Not so much a different voice as a reused voice, given how the line was blatantly obvious as Ratchet's.
I've been toying with the idea of either Kelsey Grammer or Gary Oldman as Tyrest.
Think Sideshow Bob and/or Lord Shen.
