Hey guys, I just went over to the GI TF FOC hub, clicked on the new interview with Matt Tieger, and noticed what looks to me like a FOC poster of Perceptor behind him. I'm going to watch the interview now to see what Tieger has to say.

Ok look at the 2nd video at 5:00 time stamp. Look at the poster directly to the right of the big Grimlock poster. Perciptor, I positive it's him now, is in the upper left corner across from Optimus Prime ans above the High Moon logo.

 

That's definitely concept art for Perceptor. Assuming he doesn't get cut, it should be interesting to see what his alt-mode looks like.

 

I predict he'll be a Tank, as it can still be designed to look somewhat like a microscope.

 

I agree, but he could be made like his Generations ( reveal the shield I think) toy. Where he is a truck/suv with tank trax, that would be awsome and keep him in the smaller than tank leader class.

 

You're right that Soldier class is too hulking for him (unless they spread the mass out a bit), I just can't see his signature microscope doubling as a Truck rocket launcher when a Tanks energy cannon suits it perfectly. Then again, vehicles might have more weapon variety this time.

Its a small pic, but I don't see anything resembling wheels or a cab.

 

That looks like a really nice design...also Optimus looks better there than in the recent images/video (has the higher shoulders for example). Grimlock looks amazing in that art as well.

 

I think those are wheels at the back of his foot. I think.

 

I think that there are wheels onhis arms and behind his legs, but not 100% sure.

 

I don't like Optimus's higher shoulders, makeshim look a bit too much like Ultra Magnus. Who I hope is in the game.

 

Prolly a tank. The Autobots had only 2 tank characters in WFC, so i'd be great to see more.

 

Maybe he's a playable characters, but also an NPC who designs and upgrades weapons for you? Wheeljack could serve the same purpose if you are playing as Perceptor. It'll be interesting to see what his powers are!

YES I love perceptor, Im pretty shure he will turn out to be a tank but a truck will be cool too.  

 

I'd love to see Paul Eiding voicing him again. Maybe in an advising role as sort of a pseudo-reference to his character in Metal Gear Solid.
