I got sick of waiting for Perceptor to show up in my area so I figured I'd make my own. This is from WFC Soundwave, just mistransformed. I removed some of the rougher edges since I figured Perceptor is more blocky in robot form. Still in the process of sculpting a new head.

WIP shots of microscope mode below. The neat thing is, the wheels can still act as adjustment knobs for the microscope!

EDIT: finished doing some prelim paintwork and attached the head.

This is cool, I love how you utilized the wheels in this mode.

    More to come...
I cast a couple of heads to combine and use as Perceptor's head.
One was from an Energon Downshift (used for my Wheeljack
custom, to the left), and one was from the Optimus vs Megatron
Megatron head. I shaved Wheeljack's ears off once I cast it
and worked with it to retain the "crown' piece, then shaved
the appropriate pieces from Megatron's head, then combined
    them w/ some apoxie.

Is it possible to twist the lower wheels, so that they roll on the ground? I'd just love to see a wheeled Microscope, for all your on-the-go scientific needs! :lol

Anyways, that is a cool fan mode, and i can't wait to see this thing painted up!

Updated 1st post with painted Perceptor. Still may have to do some touchups and
need to apply the autobot symbol.

I find it hilarious that Perceptor was turned into Soundwave, and now Soundwae has become Perceptor lol
