i saw this in the creative section where someone was going to take the wfc soundwave head and weapons swap them on and repaint the new generations perceptor.

i wonder if hasbro might decide to repaint this mold as such, its not such a bad idea after seeing the digibash it looked pretty good.

i know most people would prefer him get his own mold that he and blaster could perhaps share, but if this happend i would buy it in a heartbeat and with his minions getting some recognition as of late, maybe we will see it??

 

Soundwave should have his own mold.

That Perceptor mold, from what I've seen so far, looks like shit. Repainting it into Soundwave would be a travesty.

 

Apparently the recolour / remold will be Reflector. Might want to wait for that before trying a parts swap - it'll be easier to repaint as the colours will be about right.

 

I think ill just stick with my WFC and/or Music label soundwave, a bad mold for a great character would be awful.

Waiting to use the Reflector repaint/retool is what I plan on doing. The deco should definitely be easier to turn into Soundwave, depending on certain deco decisions. I'm hoping they give him purple or gray tinted translucent plastic, but I wouldn't be surprised if they went with green.
