    So..... I am making a Classics/Wrecker Perceptor.

Problem is, the head. I don't have one. I did have a Classics Astrotrain head that was painted black, but I lost it. And I don't know if that would even be decent size.

The body is from Cyb. Mudflap, so you can get an idea of head size.

I know frenzy_rumble had painted and unpainted heads on ebay, but they're gone now, and I don't know if that would be the right size either.

So, what head could I use? I could probably sculpt around a head to look like Perceptor. Any ideas?

    Thanks!

I'm not positive, but I believe the heads that F_R had were G1 Perceptor-sized, so they would be too large for that custom (correct me if I'm wrong anyone). An Energon Rodimus head may work or even another Classics Astrotrain head possibly. You could also use a Universe Ironhide noggin.

You could use those as a base and do some styrene or sculpting where needed. Good luck with the project, hope you find what you need, man.

IIRC, Cyb. Mudflap should be compatible with a G1 Perceptor head. The size should be about right, but don't quote me on this one.

Otherwise, Punk's right, Astrotrain or Ironhide.

But, even if I sculpt around the Astrotrain or Ironhide head, wouldn't that make the face area small?

Yeah, or you can find a junker Perceptor and an Alt Smokescreen head and make one. Neither part is hard to find.

Brian suggested a lot of other cool ideas as well :thumb

Ok, ALPHAMAGNUS says that his Perceptor head (From his Perceptor he put up recently) is from Alternators Skids.

Looks like that'd be the choice, then!

Why don't you wait until the Generations Perceptor is released and use that one?

Deluxe sized heads wouldn't be the right size.

That head would be quite a bit small for what he's trying to do, I believe.
