Quick question yall. On Generations Perceptor has anyone had an issue with the peg that snaps the backpack to the body snapping off? I don't mean the one that holds the head into place, the other one.

On mine I see some stress marks on that little tab and don't know if I should be concerned about it or not. Worst case it snapps off but it isn't exactly vital as a display toy. Of course I would rather not have it happen but still.

I've heard of people having it snap and it can happen. mines just loose and the plastic on the sides of the red tab peeled a bit after trying to attach it. With the weaker plastic in the newer figures people have to be more careful with them all.

You're not the only one riding the same boat. My RTS perceptor doesn't snap at all either. I saw a video on youtube by a guy that fix the issue of the backpack not tabbing into place. I think he used superglue to make the tab thicker so that it snaps into place.

Still not entirely sure why so many people have issues with the tabs in the backpack or the backpack not locking in place.

No stress on the tabs of mine and the backpack stays firmly in place. I have to put in a good effort to pop the backpack out.

It's simply the cheaper plastic on newer figures. Not all come out the same though. It being made that shape of tab to hold a big part of him wasn't the best choice also.

I dunno. I find no fault in the tabbing at all. It does what it's supposed to do on mine.

    Ebay:
Same here: the tab holds fine and his backpack is held tightly. I can shake him about with no problems.

Mine was broken out of the Package.

Took it back, and my second Perceptor, I'll add, the only other one I've ever seen, has done me well. The QC is very spotty, sure, but if you get a well assembled one, man.

He's probably my favorite "CHUG/RTS" figure to date.
