Has everyone ordered a TR Grotusque from the TRU website that wants one yet?

 

The Target in Exeter had PotP Optimus and Rodimus on the shelf. And I bought them.

I had Starscream in my hands, and this is the third time I've left a store without him. Dunno what it is, but I just can't seem to pull the trigger on that figure.

So, Exeter Target still has Starscream, at least one of each Deluxe, Legend and Pretender Primes.

 

McKnight Rd tru has grimlock and starscream.
McKnight Rd target has 84 voltron black lion on an endcap.
And cosmos in clearance isle

 

West Mifflin target had two POTP Optimus Primes on the shelf. I grabbed one of them.

 

Warrington Walmart stocked all of the new stuff, I grabbed the only leader prime.

 

It’s those big dumb looking lower legs/feet.

Leader prime is quite nice. It feels more like a $35 figure than a $45 figure, but oh well.

Now a want a leader megatron to go with him. Size wise the tank leader megatron goes well enough, but that figure is just rather lame. I’d love a leader jet or bomber megatron.

 

Agreed. I bought him (the first leader I've bought since tank leader Megatron) for Orion Pax but find Prime to be just as engaging. I'm gonna have to see if @jream is making/made covers for the hollow spots.

 

I'm even more disappointed in Starscream than I was when I first got Silverbolt. At least Silverbolt completely pegs together solidly. The gray plastic color is ugly. The cockpit windows that open are missing paint on the edges so you can see the gray outlines (at least that I can fix). The stickers are already starting to peel at the edges, plus there's those stupid ones on the feet. The proportions make it look like Starscream is a little kid wearing Hulk hands and his mom's Uggs. Jet mode is similar to the Walgreen's Jetfire in all the worst ways, and the front flaps on either side of the cockpit like to pop off the cockpit and don't like pegging in to the rest of the jet. The legs are a huge pain in the ass to orient properly for combined mode, and once you get it right, you then screw it up trying to actually peg them together. The flaps on the legs are super thin, and don't peg in for combined mode, which might have helped with orienting the legs a bit. And he looks so much like movie Starscream as a torso that it really only looks good with jets.

I'm hoping at least a couple of those issues will be fixed for Elita-1.

This right here is why i'm straight up passing on him. I'm mildly intrigued by Prime and Rodimus, but right now the only bots i want are the dinobot (maybe for Grimlock) and i'm not even super fussed about getting them.

 

I just can't pull the trigger on the dinobots.

 

Chambersburg Walmart
The action figure aisle has been reset. They have a bunch of PotP stuff. The only things they don't have are leader Optimus, and the prime masters.

 

Waynesboro Wal-Mart had one each of the Voyagers and Leaders, I bought the Optimus. There were deluxes too.

 

State College Target-

3 Clearance Seasprays, bunch of Slashes and Beachcombers. One each Jazz and Dreadwing.

 

I wonder how long it’ll take for wave 2 to arrive. I REALLY hate it when combiners are spread throughout multiple waves.

 

The screen shots we got when the waves were leaked had a street date of April 1st...Wave 1 had a street date of December 1st, but they came out a few weeks early. So I would assume late March?

Beachcomber came home with me. Hemmed and hawed on Grimlock who actually looks pretty cool.
