PeeWee's Playhouse will be on Adult Swim starting July 10th. They've been playing teaser ads between shows. Basically a screen that says "Remember This?" and music playing. And then "July 10th". Took me a while to figure out what the music was, then I asked my wife, and she said "PeeWee's Playhouse". I've also seen a "bump" listing actors and stuff that were involved with the show. Rob Zombie was a production assistant on the show. I never knew that. :D

Yay, let's throw even more live action on Cartoon Network. Saved by the Bell and random movies aren't enough.

Whoever is in charge of that channel is determined to have go the way of MTV and G4 eh?

Thats ok- in a few years the Golf Channel will pretty much exclusively air the stuff we were watching on Cartoon network before it switched to exclusively showing live action crap, so there will once again be balance in the universe. Where do you then go to watch golf, you may ask? Seriously, why would you want to watch golf on TV?

Somebody needs to start a "Cartoon Network is for Cartoons" campaign. I'm getting sick of all this live action bullshit sneeking into my animation time, especially my Adult Swim time.

Pee Wee's Playhouse is about as much like a cartoon as it's possible to get without actually being animated. I am perfectly okay with this, unlike with Saved By the Bell.

True enough,I'm at least 50% of the cast is either 1)Animatronic 2)A puppet or 3)Claymation

Reminds me I should head down and see if I can score the Pee Wee's Playhouse boxset:D

At lest it has animated segments, but it’s still chipping away at the “purity” of Cartoon Network.

Hmmm... maybe in a few year it'll be the Food Network that airs golf? I wouldn't give up hope just yet.

If you're talking about Anime Network, that's the channel for anime.

As for PeeWee on AS, yeah, Cartoon Network's fucked up. In fact, they've been fucked up since 2004. Might as well revisit the "Cartoon Network SUCKS" idea and make a new sig.

Damn, wish DirectTv carried that. I didn't even know it existed.

I think its gonna be cool having PWP on Adult Swim. The whole show was animated, not cartoon animated, but animated none the less. Least its not Saved by the Bell. Already have Tom Goes to the Mayor, thats only half animated.

There was a time when it was on 24/7 at my house, now the last time it was on was over 6 months ago, and the closest I come to watching it since is the few good things they have left on OnDemand Aqua Teen and The Brak Show
