I don't think I'll ever own this like I was able to get the 3 City commander repaints. I don't have this figure anyway.

It would be neat to see pics with the Shadow Commander set.

I'm glad you were able to get a hold of another SG Rodimus figure to show off this upgrade set. I currently have my Shadow Scythe on Gentei Wildrider, but still prefer the masked face as opposed to the red Protector face.

Love the video! To bad they didnt do the chest flames purple but otherwise a great add on kit and can't wait to get mine.

Anybody else think sidearm matches this set way better then protector?

i personally think this set looks way nicer on wildrider ..the new face makes him sort of like a drone and the red fists just clash with sg rodimus..nice reveiw tho

I really want this, but that mean i would have to fork out anywhere of $400 to $600 for Wildrider and $300 to $500 for SG Hot Rod and It aint worth it!!!!

I used to own a SG Rodimus, sure The guy I sold it to got a great deal at $70, but with this out I totally regret selling it, Though the repaint I did on a BIS Rofimud looks pretty good, I agree that the red hands and silver chest aren't as great as what Fansproject originally showed off as a color scheme, still I have him and when the inevitable Purple repaint comes out I'll enjoy that too.

BTW, I'll be taking my time machine back to get a few Henkei wildriders, PM if interested in tagging along.

I am eagerly awaiting mine, but I have to say I am disapointed its not colored as originally shown.

I still hate to cover up my beutiful SG roddy, so I may just paint a RTS roddy black and gray I dunno.

quick question to anyone who has this upgrade...

in the Protector instructions we got a teaser at the back for the "20,000 BC" figure...anything at the back of the instructions for Shadow Scythe?

Great review! The colors in the comic leave me hopeful that there might be a Shadow Scyther brought out in that colorscheme (though I would regret a lunch box). That scyth is too cool too receive such a limited run.

Besides the different comic, the rest of the manual is the same.

The colors are a little unexpected and I wish they matched the comic drawings. It's still a very attractive upgrade and I can't wait for it to arrive!

    Just curious.

In every review you say "we do this, and we do that" or "you do this, then you do that".

But... there is no "we" and there is no "you". We are not there with you following along with our own new figures, or production prototypes.

If you stick with the "I do this, then turn this, and turn that, etc." it will sound less "instructional".

I don't mean to sound like a prick here, just trying to help.
