Very RARELY does Hasbro/TAKOMY use a fake window design, as posted here:
Obviously far MORE usage of vehicle mode windows over a fake window chest.

This is pretty much how I feel as well.

Oh PLEASE someone make a new sword for him.. that thing is flat out horrible.. why do we get THAT but we can't have rubber tires?!?!

Wait, what? I mean, I'd love to get a free Prime from your giveaway, but it would be nice to have the blaster as well as the sword. Like I said, a free Prime is a free Prime, but 2 of those flimsy swords? You're joking, right?

Agreed. Man the complaints blow my mind. I can agree with being dissapointed in the robber parts, but not to the point of ruining it. For those complaining about the faux windows... how much does that matter? When you have an alt mode and a robot mode that look great, why complain about something like that? Furthermore, however complicated the transformation may be, one needs only to look at Peaugh's video comparing the deluxe and the voyager to see how much better the voyager looks.

Well, if it's *that* big of a deal I can pull the swords out too, or just not give it away at all. I mean, I wouldn't want to *insult* someone by letting them have a figure for free that I could just sit in a closet to gather dust, or sell to recover at least a small part of the cost of buying a case...

I'm sorry...I didn't mean anything bad by it. I still would very much like him with 2 blades, as it would still be an awesome figure.

It's cool, I came down a little hard in my reply. And I may swap the gun back in, we'll see.

I actually think it's cool that they transform the same, with more finesse in the voyager. It's the same reason I LOVE cybertron Legends class figures. They did it right. They captured the same transformations of their larger version. Made them equally fun. The transformation is something i'd expect from a voyager. The fact that the deluxe copies it is an impressive thing indeed.

There have been a few different contests throughout the years, but typically he asks a question and you send an answer and he chooses randomly from that.

Never actually participated in one before... but it's mandatory that I do now. I need this figure!

Shame about the rubber sword and smokestacks but he's still an awesome fig.

Now if only these things would start hitting stores. *sigh*

    Great review!

Looks nice, but not QUITE what I want. I think...

    Yeah, this.

If I see Bulkhead, I'll grab him, because I don't mind a more dull finish on a guy like that. I'm going to wait and see what Takara gives us for Prime and possibly the others. These guys deserve a nice shiny finish!

The rubber stuff isn't a deal-breaker, but it'd be nice to get something better for those parts too.

Just as long as the smokestacks don't magically warp like crazy on their own, I'm kinda fine with the rubbery stuff

Who knows, some over excited 3rd party co. Will probly make weapons and a trailer for this guy anyway :p

I think it would be pretty easy for a third party to make some slipover cannons for bulkhead capable of using the wrist peghole.

I'm not really all that concerned with the rubbery stuff. It's kind of lame, but not a deal-breaker. And you're right - we probably will get some pretty cool third party upgrade gear for all of these.

I'm more interested in a shinier/more realistic paint job. If Takara can provide that, I think it'll be worth the extra cost.

If not, oh well I guess... This is still pretty nice. :)

Looks nice. May actually buy him, despite his chest transformation being akin to DOTM Voyager Prime (not that that's a problem).
