The small head doesn't bother me too much. I think this guy looks awesome and can't wait to get mine.

Having said that, I will probably keep him in Counterpunch mode most of the time.

I'm trying to really like this toy. Maybe i'll change my opinion once it arrives but i'm HOPING someone makes a repro head for this figure.

Yeah, a decent head would make this figure awesome. As it is, whoever designed the head that comes with the toy deserves MAJOR props. It's a great sculpt, and a great design. It's just too SMALL. Visually it's great, just tiny.

You are correct in that it doesn't look as bad in person. I'm keeping mine just because I love this mold.

Hmm... that tiny head makes me glad I didn't purchase him. Now the head sculpt looks good, but it's just to small... it looks more in scale with Classic Hot Rod's body.

I was hoping for something more like what was shown on the Transformers Image Boards.

Now they need to reproduce that head :D

Gorgeous looking head there. I wonder if it actually fits inside the chest cavity....

Lots of talk about how the head he got is too small, but am I weird for thinking the head in that picture is -too big?-

Seems like I saw WIP pictures of the figure and if I remember correctly the head fit in the chest. The old image boards had more of a history to them. It's to bad that the WIP picture are not there anymore :(

Yeah, if anyone ever actually made that head (or one like it) available for sale, I'd be all over one. Hell, just upsize the FunPub mold a bit and I'd buy it. I do LOVE the actual sculpt we got, just wish it were bigger.

The maker of that custom head is Japanese, thanks to 1987olds442 I managed to find his blog, but unless you know Japanese or someone who does, I say it's gonna be quite difficult to contact him.

Here's his blog by the way:

Thanks for the Blog, here are his WIP pictures

    Google Translate

If we could find his email, we could use google to translate the English into Japanese and make the guy an offer.

EDIT: wow, I tried to leave a Comment for the guy and its very difficult. I kept getting these URL ERROR messages.
