Wow. The Voyager class Ironhide was pretty hard to beat, but that's probably just me. Still kinda wish they'd have made a Human Alliance Ironhide with Lennox (kinda hard to say that after looking at HA Jazz). Even so, that's actually a really good figure. To hell with the scale with the other Movie figures in my collection, I'm still picking him up just because he's my favorite.
Just watched it. Thanks Peaugh, i am now officially sold on this figure. Short oddly angled arms aside, this thing succeeds in everything the voyager class figure failed in, and at a more affordable price to boot. And videogame weapon is a neat bonus.
Any chance we can get some comparison pics with other Autobots, like say Bumblebee and Voyager Prime?

hmmm...WAAAAY better den i expected...i was expecting sumthin similar to a FAB ...but this is da shit!!...This is a beaty...ima put this down to get...i kinda like him bettern voyager...gotta wait a bit till his price goes down though...But AWESOME!!!! I luv it!!!
I really like the look of this Ironhide. If I end up getting him, he'll be either my second or third version of the movieverse Ironhide depending on whether I get Recon Ironhide.
One thing that looks unusual that we have to attach the head after the robot transform... I'm not comfortable with that...it's a transformer toy not somekind of Power Ranger or Voltes V! and why do they always make Ratchet bigger than Ironhide???
Nice review. I really like how his chest pieces connect together. That was my biggest gripe on the voyager mold. I'll definitely get this guy when I see him.
Looks great. We needed a new mold anyhow, even with the awesome that is Recon Ironhide that mold sucks in a great many ways. Namely it being so hard to keep connected at the waist when fiddling with it. Cannons could look better, still great to have this, as it looks a bit more solid.
I have to say... I retain my position that the very FIRST Movie Voyager Figure is the most movie accurate, fun, and best figure to date. Many will think I am crazy, but Premium Ironhide was less accurate, Nest Gray IH...blech, Recon (reverse zebra) IH...not for me, and now this...not in scale with anything and short, stubby arms. Peaugh, as always, great reviews. You are the cream of the crop for reviews, along with Optibotimus and Vangelus, and have solidified or convinced me to buy or skip a figure many times. This is a case where I will be passing. Still a great review. You are a blessing to the community.
Damn it I wish they gave him a proper left cannon then the drone. They got the cannons wrong for the 5th time.
Isn't the drone able to shoot out the back of the cab in the game. That's pretty cool that it can fit in there. Not too interested in him though. Got two Voyagers already.
Not me. These toys were all designed after the movie designs had long been finalized, so there's plenty of room to make them more accurate. The first figures had a lot more constraints, especially with time, to work around. The new figures did not.
