    Thanks for the review.

So it looks like he's not the best mold ever, but I still think the overall look of the figure is really cool. Probably a buy.

I guess I was right, I figured he was a "shell former" frm the begining.

I could forgive the shellformer transformation, except for the fact that none of his truck kibble seems to lock in place anywhere. It's like the engineer for this toy went on holiday.

The panels on the shoulders snap into place pretty tightly when they're rotated all the way back, but yeah, the rest doesn't really lock anywhere.

Brawn's Shellformer aspect is kinda forgivable.... since one of my all time fave ROTF Deluxe(Sideswipe and Swerve) are also kinda shellformerish and cheatsy, I even believe Sideswipe(ROTF) is the biggest cheater in TF, but if the robot mode looks good and kickass like Swipe, I will get Brawn too.... Hope he comes earlier in retail argh!!!

    Nice review sir!

Nice review. Doesn't bother me, still a good looking bot, better than Jolt and U Hotshot.

Very impressed so far with Brawn even with all that kibble on the back. Great review!

Hmm.. The back kibble doesn't bother me so much. I'm more disappointed with the gun just dangling/sticking out of his back. I mean, i would've been cool if it were detachable and placed on his shoulder instead. But what the heck.. He's still a cool figure and I'll be getting him. :)

    Nice review, Peaugh. :thumb

This is looking to be one of the coolest Deluxes so far.

It actually can flip up and fire over his head, or rotate a bit to sit over his shoulder, kind of like a Predator cannon.

Not sure how many iterations Brawn has had over the years. I only know this one and the original.

But if you go by the G1 toy (which I loved and wish I'd kept) rather than the cartoon version (which I wasn't so crazy about), Brawn always had a facemask/non human face. Considering just how few of the on screen movie bots have human faces, I thought the head/face was a great homage to the original, and a good part of why I ordered this one.

Your review is a bit disappointing (but a great review, as always), but I'm still looking forward to this figure. The pictures seem like a great update on character that's always been near and dear to me.

Yeah, he's growing on me. Flipping those hip panels into hip armor and extending the cannon over his shoulder helps.

    i think he looks fantastic

personally, i got no probs with "shellformers"

people act like they're not "real" transformers or something and yeah. We've had shellformers for quite awhile now. get over it :p  its part of transformers

    i think he looks cool >:}

This little mod makes him so look much nicer. :thumb  I recall in some pics that the front truck bumpers (on the robot legs) can be rotated so they're vertical instead of horizontal. Does this help the robot mode besides aesthetic looks in any way?
