YouTube - iGear PP03E ELEGY "Dirge"‏
aarrgghh I can't wait them arrive to me
wow he is my favorite..absolute perfection
Dammit Peaugh....I wasn't planning on getting these...you sold em to me.
I would much prefer a text review than video. Could you post text version of what you think potential buyers should know? I can read much faster than the 12 minutes this will take (and that assumes a steady transfer rate from YouTube!).
I'm not picking on your video review Peanugh, because I feel this way about virtually all video reviews. I find text much more efficient. And I'm envious that you have one of these to play with!!
Dirge looks awesome, glad I have him preorder. I will switch out his guns with ramjet, the big fuel tanks belong on ramjet.
I think they gave Ramjet Dirge's missiles, and vice versa. They probably did this due to the wing / landing gear clearance. I'll have to remedy this when I get Dirge.
These really are fantastic toys. I'm blown away at the quality, and am very impressed that iGear even fixed the construction issues that plagued the original Hasbro/Takara releases. The wing hinges are now fixed, and the long posts have been shortened to prevent stress marks/breaking-not to mention the hip kibble. Nice. Add the nice touch of the dual wrist communicators is an excellent touch.
Just off the bat:
-Plastic quality is good. Feels slightly different than an original version, but it still feels sturdy and not cheap.
-Most of the problems as mention have been fixed. Tailfin bits are now molded to stay on the legs, wing hinges have the clearance to avoid stressing/cracking, stuff like that.
-Dirge is my least favorite of the three, but the set of three as a whole looks AMAZING when displayed together.
That is awesome news! A 3rd party company did what HASTAK refused to do, hah!
That's great news, thanks. I think I'll get myself a Thrust
Sorry about being late, at first I just ignore all the iGear seekers. But all the iGear seekers are the same sizes as the Hasbro/Takara MP Seekers.Right? No scale re-sizing.
