Thanks for giving these a good review. At the first Botcon we got the word that these were pretty much doomed. I'm glad these finallly saw an official release.

...no matter how many times I see those colors, they're still hideous. such a shame, 'cause I like the seacons. nautilator makes a pretty poor arm, doesn't he? also: the shell half's mounting pegs are shaped like any other scramble city connector post. therefore, snaptrap can use it as a shield in robot mode, mounted on either shoulder. I think you're supposed to get snaptrap's thighs horizontal for gestalt part form, btw. maybe that could help with the stability hiccups the video is showing? don't quote me if that's not how it's "supposed" to be tho
Yes, if you put Snaptrap's legs at a 90 degree angle, he's much more stable. It also helps, when using Skalor as a leg, to have him on the side opposite whichever arm is holding the gun. I am jealous of the fact that your Overbite will hold his gun in his mouth hole. I managed to get Piranacon to hold Nautilator as a gun much better - I will take pics when I get home, or tomorrow. I have two configurations I've settled on - one with Nautilator as a gun, and one with Overbite. Nautilator is a lousy arm, so he becomes a leg when he's not the gun for mine. Seawing stays as an arm because neither foot post fits tightly in his snout hole - I think my large holes on Overbite and Seawing are so the fists will actually connect. With the trade off of weapons falling out when used for weapon mode. :/
Why am I having flashbacks of "Taconation?" And why couldn't they just reissue them with their original colors... yes, sea green and pinkish looked better than this...
Maybe now, given their success and the viability of the mold (minor qc aside); we might see an Encore release. Yes, I'll buy them again if they do.

My seacon snaptrap was painted correctly. Sorry about yours Peaugh. Wonder what others may be like. I love your reviews by the way.
I had the same problem with Skalor as a leg. The shell fits onto Snap Trap shoulder like a shield. I think Tentakil is missing the Decepticon insignia. I wish there was more with the instructions but I know that it is simple. It just feel like something is missing. Also who the hell is Jawbreaker? I'm glad that I finally got the Seacons
i like the colors havent took mine out yet running out of room.....sure glad im movin to Washington (STATE) so i can get a bigger house and a man cave to display my collection which is 70% still in boxes...these are a nice addition especially if ur a hardcore collector
