I actually snagged it from a private seller for a lot less than they've been selling for on ebay. If it IS a Lucky Draw, I got a hell of a deal. If it's a retail exclusive I paid about what those go for.

While I'd like to think that a blue version of this mold would turn out to be Glyph, I'm wondering if it might turn out to be a Freeway. Yeah it's not got the right head or car type, but how close was Strafe really to his original toy.

Is there a HasTak copyright on it anywhere? It's usually a good indicator of it being genuine or a KO.

Cause I was thinking if they are just HQ repaints of Bumblebee, then it should have the same copyright info as Bumblebee. If it's real, it should have a 2009/2010 date on it.

If it doesn't have one at all, it's a KO.

To me the red autobot symbol seems to be the most glaring difference. It looks like a cheap sticker. If it comes out in the Generations line I would be pretty happy but seeing as how he wasn't shown in any official capacity I sort of want to say it's a KO. I find it hard to believe that there hasn't been any information regarding the figure other than these leaking out onto ebay.

couldn't this be a hasbro release? didn't hasbro state that they wanted to use more chrome on their figures, seeing as they perfected the technique with recon ravage

probably not, but don't rule that possibility out, i hope it is

Nice video. It's most likely a product of Takara's, but I still think that there's a good chance it's a Hasbro product. They're starting to get back into using chrome (Ravage mail-away and Generations Thrust). Could potentially be a Generations figure, or a future mail-away figure.

Should be interesting to see what it ends up being.

I could be wrong, but I don't think Takara or Hasbro update copyright info for repaints.

I'll vote for a mail away from Hasbro and the Generations line.
