You pay that much and he still says how you can and cannot play with your toys? What a shame. I think the combination was the only thing interesting about this pile of construction vehicles.

I mean, I can understand him wanting to make his own video, but this entire week has just come off as less a review and more of a gushing praise-fest. Or worse, a commercial for FrenzyRumble.

I've watched all of the praise this week and still not impressed with the fig at all. The paint apps yes, those are nice, but I'm sorry the figures themselves are a mess. There's just WAYYYY too much "remove this, add that" going on here. Yes I know G1 Devastator had all of his combiner parts added to him, but at least the bot modes were completely transformable, not partsformable.

And I agree with Terrorcon Blot, way too much praise going on here. I don't know if it's because Peaugh is just trying to convince HIMSELF of it being perfect cause of the amount I can only guess he paid for it, or if FR gave it to him so he feels obligated to do so.

I imagine I'm going to catch a lot of flak for not praising this thing(I'm normally very impressed with FR's work), but I'm not going to say "OMG AWESOME" when I don't feel that's the case.

The other posters summarized my thoughts perfectly. He does look quite impressive when he's combined though, he definately has the mass necessary, and towers over everything like he should.

    It's called a review for a reason. :)

EDIT: Oh and Peaugh, why is that Mixmaster left splayed out to the side so much?

My feelings exactly. Even some of the paint looked so-so, and the combined mode looked way to "fragile".

While I have seen F_R put out some beautiful works, this just doesn't impress me. and i'm not saying that to be cool, heck i barely ever say something negative period. but i watched the Mixmaster video and i almost threw my phone. I was explaining it to my drummer, and i said "it's like this... (we were at a diner)

...watch me transform this glass of diet pepsi into a glass of water...

(i center pepsi in front of my drummer. remove the straw. push the pepsi aside, bring the water front and center. place the straw in.)

    "TADA!!"

Was there anything wrong with this guy? I think this isn't much of a review, more like a commercial.

Yeah, that was pretty much bullshit that you couldn't show how the combination worked, considering the design wasn't FR's to begin with. That's the only part I gave a crap about. Not to mention I don't think this whole week-long dragout was necessary, being that if you ever visit Radicons, you've seen this same thing at least once a month.

    I couldn't agree more.
The only person that deserves anything out of this custom is Ptitvite.

    About the review itself...

    blah blah blah HE'S AWESOME
blah blah blah HIS EYES LIGHT UP
blah blah blah VERY VERY NICE
    *mixmaster falls apart*
blah blah blah SO VERY AWESOME

yeah, it's a big commercial. It should be on TV.

Wow..alot of negativity in this thread.

Look..I'm not interested in a custom Devastator in any way whatsoever. And yeah, maybe Peaugh is a bit too excited about it ;)  But I don't think there should be so much complaining about it. He's given us TONS of honest, clear, professional reviews - should we really harass him over this one week of Devastator reviews? :lol

I've seen people do far worse reviews, and in the end, he's not forcing you to buy anything. He's just showing it off, and if you don't agree with what he says, you're of course free to tell him that and stuff..but seriously, some posters in this thread are bordering nerd rage a bit :p .

Would have been valid if Peaugh had constantly delivered abysmal reviews, but he hasn't. I guess the one thing people like to do better than putting somebody onto a pedestal is knocking him off of it...sheesh.

complete BS on FR' part about the combination vid. It's Pivite's design, not his.

That was just where I could get him to stand during the review without spending time just readjusting the leg. once he was able to stand I didn;t mess with it.

Thanks Ptitvite for giving this concept idea of how to make a Classics/Universe/ or whatever Devastator to us Radicons so that we can make our own Devastator and to some customizers (frenzy_rumble or whomever) the chance to commission one for consumers, for whom they don't have much experience making such a custom and to Peaugh for review it. It was a cool review.

actually, no. do you know what you're talking about? I use a completely different build, connectors, etc on my versions. I used (the majority) of the same RID build team (what a surprise) yet, I built it so it's my own.
If Ptitvite would like to make a video, I'll watch it too.
