Very cool toy/concept. I hope they do a deluxe version that transforms into a SUV.
this is Boss!
if i had to take a guess, the twins from ROTF didn't sell well due to similarities. bought one had less a need for the other.
thats what i think they are compensating for here in the varying alt modes.
great review Peaugh
have the two smaller dreads (love crowbar, great articulation and detail for a legions fig) cant wait to get hatchet just to complete the set
Does Crowbar have the proper leg articulation to ride Hatchet as a steed?
Also, don't the drone missiles combine into a bigger gun?
Awesome! Want it.
Then want it again repainted as SkyLynx and/or Grotusque
ZacWilliam, very cool
Another nice review, Peaugh!
I've got the Cyberverse figures of Crankcase and Crowbar a while back, and I'm gonna go looking for Hatchet later today.
They didn't shine a whole lot in the film itself, but I thought they were badass nonetheless. The fact that
all three could run at what looked like 50-60 miles per hour - I mean, the bipedal guys were just booking it! - was so cool to see. And in addition to their guns, they had those barbed things they could grab from their backs! Whoa!
And to me, Hatchet compares kind of like a big brother to Ravage - while Ravage was essentially a panther, Hatchet is a large lion-like beast.
(By the way, I noticed you mentioned having seen DotM, so these blocking out potential spoilers aren't for you. It's just in case someone else on these threads for your reviews hasn't seen the film yet - I don't want to mess with anyone with the movie, y'know.)
I'll grab Hatchet when they make a bigger version of him, hopefully using the deluxe Crankcase SUV mold
Can i ask if i heard correctly: you paid 7 dollars each? I am paying over 30 for a Cyberverse Commander in Argentina.
Back on topic: great review! I like the fact that you shown the 3 Dreads together and they sorta are in scale.
Yes. Target has commanders on sale for $7.49 each and the legion figures for $4.49 each.
Aw, Ok, now i am sad. T.T
I think in vehicle mode Crankcase and Crowbar are pretty in scale with each other. Crowbar just compresses so well its hard to tell in Vehicle mode. Its hilarious that Crankcase becomes the smaller robot when his alt mode is the bigger of the two.
Crowbar and Commander Ironhide both have a level of compression that is just incredibly impressive. I wish more of the toys compressed that small in vehicle mode.
Crowbar actually is almost Commander size in robot mode. He stands taller than Blackout and im pretty sure equal or taller than Powerglide. Megatron is about a head taller.
Okay, the guns for Hatchet DO combine, and they look exactly like two guns plugged into each other.
I think I'm sold on Hatchet. Still, I'm also impressed what can be done with a legion/ Legend nowdays.
Separate names with a comma.
