Thanks for the review, Peaugh! Could we get a photo of him with Atomic Lugnut? I'm curious about the color comparisons between those two in robot mode. Thanks!

Personaly, I think they made the toy an earth form simply because, well, Blackout's cybertronian mode was the exact same thing minus rotors (so it was more or less a flying can). Earth mode really isn't that much different, he's just got back rotors (and it's a relief to see Hasbro didn't try shoehorning in that damned roto spinning gimmick they seem to love putting into helicopters nowadays).

the fact his elbows don't have an inside joint (so he could shake someone's hand or something) bothers me, as does the imobile head, but all in all he looks decent enough.

I can snap some pics of him with the regular Lugnut, but I don't have the Atomic version.

Love this guy. Only thing that bugs me is that you have to set the launcher aside when you aren't using it, apparently.

Nice review, Peaugh :) . This guy's design is very interesting. I won't say cool because IMO 'cool' mainly belongs to the movie line (okay I'm quite biased). But his design is quite revolutionary :)

The major letdown is the "Lugnut Syndrome". If it hadn't been for that, I'd probably want to get him over ROTF Grindor.. Nonetheless, a very nice figure :)

This may be a stupid question, but does his head move?

I am excited for the last of the Animated line in ways I was not about ROTF. In fact I don't think I even got excited for any ROTF figures until they unveiled leader Screamer, Lockdown, Deluxe Ratchet, Bludgeon, and Mindwipe.

So now we've seen new TFA Activators on shelves and multiple reviews of Blackout.
Does this mean we'll be seeing the end of TFA released before the rest of ROTF (Deluxe Ratchet, Lockdown, Brawn, etc.)? Cause that would be AWESOME.

Great review as always. Blackout looks cool. I'll definitely be getting him.
