if you think about it, it should "mess up" every "odd" waves.

There are 2 5-packs and 3 2-packs in general per wave (previously), so that's 5 bots. The bots "evened out" at wave 2, got uneven at wave 3, etc etc.

 

I want a submarine tf. But I'm also biased, being that I'm a submariner. A new Tidal Wave would be welcome as well.

I would hope Deepdive isn't a Seaspray repaint given that hovercrafts aren't exactly known for their diving ability. Really it should be a submarine.

But if it would lead to a Decepticon repaint of Breacher, well, I'd be all for it!

 

Meh. As cool as the Dragstrip homage is with the Stunticons, I'm sorely tempted to buy the Rallybots and swap out Double Clutch for Crankcase, because THAT would make a better Stunticon combiner in my opinion (and Dragstrip already got the larger Mirage repaint)

Salvage is meh as well.

But Undertow has caught my attention. I am interested for robot mode pics because I'm seriously considering buying him now. He'd make a great rival to ROTF Depthcharge.

I think his name was actually "Dive Dive", but a Go-Bot homage to a Guardian for once interests me.

Unless it's what I think it is, which is just a SeaSpray repaint (the robot mode has flippers, psuedo-air tanks, and a scuba mask which all together make him well equiped for diving). In that case, Go-Bot homage or not, I'm gonna pass. I don't need that mold twice.

 

As a constant defender of the pcc line, all I have to say is... disappointed. Except for the speedboat. Rock on speedboat.

 

I think I may be the only guy who isn't all that interested in Undertow. From the way it looks like his transformation works, he kind of reminds me of a pretender shell transformer. Not really knocking the figure, but he just doesn't do anything for me.

And yeah, Deep Dive=Sea Spray repaint.

They're not really that different, aside from the lack of Photoshop shine. Heavytread's green is a tad more tan, but overall I still like them and am very much looking forward to picking those two up.

It looks like the same head sculpt to me. I think it was just the angle on the original pic.

I hope that we get a submarine TF, as there haven't really been any major figures with that alt mode since... Actually I don't think I can even name one.

You have seen HFTD Seaspray's robot mode haven't you? If that's not a diver I don't know what is !

 

Deep Dive? As in Deep Dive BB? it could always be the unreleased Animated Voyager pack I suppose.
