Digital warm-up sketch to get the day rolling. I know that the new Transformers Power Core Combiners aren't the most popular toys, however they have some of the best head sculpts going. Filled with new ideas and tons of character, I'm digging them. I Took some time to study the Constructicons PCC and draw Steamhammer's mug. 30 min total outlined and quick colored.

I've not really seen Steamhammer's face close up yet, but this is a really nice, vibrant sketch, and I like the perspective on it. The outline looks like it could have been traced from a photo (not that I'm suggesting it was :p ).

Just drawing from the toy in hand... Previous attempts like this didn't turn out so good. (bad perspective problems) I've been trying to improve this.

I like the quick-stroke look to this. It's obviously a sketch, but still very accurate. Nice job. The colors play well with light and shadow as well, especially for a sketch.

I really like this. It's very dynamic due to the style, yet we see little of the figure. There's always a certain level of "rawness" that I really enjoy from sketches. Thanks for sharing :thumb
