Would there be any interest in Hasbro using the drone modes of the limbs as alt modes for legends class figures. They could have robot modes with the vehicle modes being similar if not identical to the drone mode. I know this would be some overkill but I think I would be interested in buying atleast some of them. I would like to see this for at least the G1 styled sets.

I don't see any reason why anyone would buy the drone sets to be honest, so yeah! These things are supposed to transform dammit!

That was what the OP was suggesting: taking the vehicle modes that the drones are and remaking them as actual transformers.

But judging by the crickets in this thread, I guess no one's interested!

That would definetly be the only way I'd buy them. But as it stands currently I have no desire to own these non transforming drones. Not feeling it. PCC Combiners sukxz.

I'm going to give a chance to one of these sets. I believe I'll buy the Combaticons and make a judgment based on my own experience with that set. I'm a sucker for Combaticons in any shape or form. The idea I had was that the drones would be similar to the robot ROTF Constructicon figures. But, like this thread suggests, no one seems interested in that.

Maybe if they make the Predacons with animal mode drones, I'd be all over that. Also, I still think the Soundwave idea I had weeks ago would work with Laserbeak, Buzzsaw, Ravage and Ratbat as the limbs with animal drone modes.

But I want a lot of things that Hasbro will never make.

Not transform in the traditional sense of a robot mode, more of an auto morph to limb. Some just resembling limbs.

What about taking existing legends and customizing them into TFing limbs?

It would be neat if some one could make some affordable transformable limbs for these guys, but I still have to get the Bruticus, it calls me.
