hello all, Got a pcc huffer today after futing him back many times due to the orange hood in alt mode. well I went to Wal mart and found that it had the same paint as the rest of the truck. So are there two vertions of the toy or is the pacage distorting the toys real color and they are all like that?
The original orange hood was changed to yellow. Nobody seems to know why, but the generally accepted reason is so that the alt-mode is more uniform in color. The orange hood Huffer's will probably become collector's items as a result. Eventually they're going to become a rare sight.
Your point is? You always have to hold on to something for a while until it becomes a collector's item. Unless they're made in small numbers for the purpose of being collector's items.
awesome...I grabbed this guy with the combaticon set at TRU when they were doing their BOGO 1/2 off...and SNAP! ...mine has an orange hood...never realized that...i just opened him up and stuck him on a shelf...have not even transformed him yet.. So how quickly did they make this change? anyone know?
If it's rare and limited, it can become a collector item eventually. Perhaps not a particularly expensive one, but there will be someone that wants it. (preferably MISB I suppose). For now, you can enjoy your unique Huffer.
