Is it just me or will the inner robot larger heads be perfect for doing bashes. I think the additional heads will really open up more variety for me in my bashes, specifically if im just wanting to do a repaint with a possible new head. i can take the head and the rest of the original figure will still be good to go. Anyone else plan on scavenging the heads and leaving the bots in their normal modes?
You stole my idea... At any rate, yes. I can already see Huffer's alt. head having some potential. And Smolder's gas mask head is awesome.
I was thinking the same thing, as Smolder's "gas mask" kinda looks more like a Bruticus head than whatever Bombshock has.
Hmm...I haven't seen Bombshock's actual alt. head yet, but i do agree that Smolder's head does have a bruticus vibe to it. Question is, aside from Huffer who is perfectly acceptable without the larger gimmck, what could you possibly use the rest of the body for? I actually kinda like Smolder's vehicle mode, but i can't think of any other character who could use it.
I picked up 2 sets of PCC yesterday; gotta say, besides the 'main' bot, these are some of the worse TFs I've owned... I do agree though, there are some good fodder parts in there, especially those connectors...shame they are bright blue and not black though.
Besides tha the main bot? You mean the drones or the minicon? Because personally i don't see anything wrong with the minicons (Well, okay, aside from Backwind).
Glad we all in the same boat. and fyi If yall do scavenge your bots ill gladly buy the left overs. just let me know what you got and what you want for it. I have plans for the drones if anyone ends up just hating theirs
yeah i'll take some leftover drones too. To me, i just see them as wireless extensions of the main bot. Yknow, if G1 Op's Roller were to connect to him and form something, we wouldn't think 2x about it. but since we're looking at these 5pc sets with the eyes of a combiner fan, we think the limb bots have been robbed of identity and bot mode, when instead there were never other bots to begin with. they are merely extensions. Kinda like a whole line of Energon Optimuses.
*i am posting way too often in this thread...* Um, this is kinda suspicious... If everyone hates them, why do you two want those drones so badly? So you scavenge the combiner joints off of them? *gets an idea* *realises toy sale starts today* I need some more drones, actually.
treadshot - never said i didn't like em. In fact, after futzing around with both 1st wave 2pks and both 5pks, i think they are awesome! can't wait for more.
