Huh.... wow. I didn't see that coming at all. Good news for PC players.

But this man speaks truthfully. I would advise people to assume they will get the same exact experience they got from War. If this is wrong, then it is a pleasant surprise. If not then there will be less people bitching that High Moon failed in a port they admitted to being bad at.

All Smiles. :)  At least I'll have something new to play on the PC. And while the multiplayer might be the sloppiest aspect of war's PC delivery. I'm really just here for the killer single player story and action fiesta. Multiplayer was a diversion that could have used those DLC add ons. I get a rush from multiplayer war for cybertron, Kills were Brutal with a satifying weight to its power balance. But it eventually just got to frustrating ones the cheating Aimbots and Cannon hackers took controll.

Yea, here is the exact quote from Tieger himself about their skills at porting to the PC:

So... what has changed then? Or did Tieger just expect everyone to forget that quote? I'm not going to look forward to something when one of the project leads flat out says "PC gaming is outside our area of expertise" then goes "Nevermind, lol, here's a PC port!"

This announcement resulted in an audible "fuuuuck yeesssssss" from me.

I honestly didn't have a problem with WFC on PC whatsoever. I heard the multiplayer was crap, but I didn't really care much about that. It was fun and cheap. If it's just like that again, fine. I'd prefer a great port, but being able to play it is better than not being able to. I was never going to buy a console for this.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the power of months of constant immature bitching.

If the PC port bombs and causes damage to the company and we never get a "part 3" I'm blaming those who harassed them into doing a port they didn't believe they could do well.

-ZacWilliam, if those same folk make one complaint about the quality of the port they should be slapped.

you're right, how dare people using the most popular platform in the world request the game be made AND be good.

If it's a good port and my laptop can play it I may double dip.

    Actually I was saying:

"if a company says they can't do something well and so are not doing it and you bitch at them untill they agree to try it anyway, you have 1) some responsibility for the consequences and 2) little room to complain if they were right about their abilities."

-ZacWilliam, if I tell you I can't drive a car and you harass me into trying to drive yours then you have little right to complain about the wreck.

I assume Mercenary Games helping being there to help made the difference. Otherwise, no idea.

I'm predicting a similar outcome as last time. Only a handful of people will actually buy it, then complain that it gets ignored in updates (because it's not financially viable). Everyone do yourself a favor and buy the 360 version. More people will buy it, which means better multiplayer matches and support.

Lets see if they actually give a damn and support it at all this time. No keybinds, text chat or voice chat at all in Multiplayer was unforgivable. Peer2peer hacks because of the unreal engine should have been something looked into.

Otherwise that's great news since you'll at least get the best singleplayer experience.

Best part, at launch date it will be $50, and then a week later it'll drop to $30. Right in my price range!

Jesus what are you all bitching about.

I did like the War for Cybertron on PC, of course it's not the best game for pc on the market back then but so what, it's always pleasing for the real tf fans.

So i'm very glad they are going to release it for PC, can't wait to play!
