Just scored a super nice MIB complete PC Engine Coregrafx 2 ($45) from a US military guy stationed in Italy. Granted this is the 5th or so PC Engine I've owned in the last 10+ years, anyone got any game recommendations? Shooters are a no brainer for this system, but curious to see what gamers here would recommend.

Any good sites to buy games from would be helpful as well (outside of eBay of course).

Does PC Engine = Turbo Duo? If so, you totally need

    Gates! of Thunder!

There was a really cool Dungeons and Dragons game on it but I forgot the name. Also, if you can get the CD attachement, Valis and Exile.

Crysis 'yo. Okay, it's a shooter but it's really-really-really awsum! :D  (sorry for the hype)

Also try Mass Effect sense that came out for PC. The new Prince of Pershia is also avilable for PC. Uh...... Also give Warhammer 40k Dawn of War a try, and Company of Heros for RTS'.

I've got my eye on a few CD-Rom addition auctions, but I'm not sure if I want to mess w/ the CD games yet. Plus I've got to figure out which system card I'll need since it looks like neither of the CD-Rom units come w/ the cards.

Gates of Thunder is a must!

So just to settle my curiosity, does anyone remember that D&D game or was I dreaming?

    Similar to Turbo-Grafx 16, IIRC.

Well until I pick up the Super CD-Rom2 unit I'll have to wait on any CD games...but Dracula X is a must. PSP version just doesn't cut it for me.

So far I have managed to pick up a few complete games:

    Dragon Spirit
    Final Soldier
    Radio Lepus Special
Time Cruise II (awesome multi-screen pinball)

The deals just keep on coming! Won this early this morning on Yahoo! Japan Auctions for about $66:

    Yahoo!Auction - ???????????????????

Considering what they usually go for even after Rinkya's fees and such I feel like I got a great deal ($102). Will the wife understand? Probably not, but at least I've got a few weeks to plead my case to her while I'm waiting for it to arrive from Japan!
