Ebayers beware. There is a paypal scam going on. I recently got an email supposedly from paypal saying that someone was trying to access my account and they wanted my info to verify it. I told them I DO NOT HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT! For those of you that do, beware. Verify everything with Paypal first before responding to any emails. Apparently they are trying to cover their tracks because when I mentioned it to my email server, a notice was sent back saying the email was undeliverable. Be careful everyone. www.myspace.com/autobotsletsroll
Happens all time. Just report them to the spoof department at paypal. Never enter any info from the link they provide, open a new window and go to paypal.
Same here, I'm glad Pimp Prime spoke up, I was a little worried about the frequency I've been getting them.
I answer customer service emails at my job. Our own CS email addres receives fake PayPal and eBay emails all the time. Nothing new. I just delete 'em.
the funny thing is, my paypal account is currently limited, because this really did happen, apparently. I can only receive money, not withdraw from my account. they sent an activation code to my mom's house, which is where I was at like a decade ago when I originally opened the account. of course, that was almost 2 weeks ago, and I still haven't received that letter. kinda frustrating.
