If its a store online, get a credit card. That's one of the only other reliable ways.

If its between users, maybe you can work something out, but it would require a level of trust that many sellers/buyers aren't willing to give someone anonymous on the internet.

It may be a hard pill to swallow, but just use PayPal if you can.
I have an account- have had it for quite a few years now, and though i don't use it much, it is actually pretty nice.

other than that, bank cards, credit cards or the Dreaded M.O. is all ya got.

If you're doing a transaction here, and you don't have Paypal, use a Money Order.

It's all up to the seller. Personally, I think you're nuts if you use anything other than PayPal nowadays.

For almost 2 years (1999-2001), I used money orders exclusively because of certain issues. I was greatly restricted as to what I could buy because of it. It was a good way to force a budget, but at the same time I couldn't buy a lot of things I wanted even if I had the money.

Nowadays, I use PayPal exclusively. When I've used a credit card, it's mostly been through PayPal. It's really the best way to go (PayPal).

I had very little problems using money orders when I did. Some people are ok taking money orders when they sell in Junkion (I've taken them, though I prefer Paypal). I think it's a bit of a risk sending someone a money order because of the lack of fallback if you get ripped off.
