Don't get a heartattack, it's not Paul WS Anderson, but Paul Thomas Anderson, the same guy who directed There Will Be Blood.

Well MGS4 has an old Snake. We might go that route.

Hope they'll go with a retelling of the first Metal Gear, myself. Maybe combine the story with that of MG2, too.

Kurt russel who snake is based off is probably too old. Snake is based of Snake Plisskin from escape from new york. He even calls himself pliskin in Metal Gear solid 2.

Wasn't the first NES Solid Snake based on that guy from Terminator, with the later ones based on Kurt Russel? If so, one of the two as Big Boss FTW. :D

How are people honestly suggesting people other than David Hayter for snake? Sacrilege!

EDIT: A younger Clint Eastwood WOULD have been a pretty freaking sweet Snake too, though, it's true.

EDIT #2: I really enjoyed Paul T Anderson's work on TWBB, but I wonder how much of that was just DDL's scenery chewing. It'd be interesting to have MGS directed by a relatively unknown director though/

I always though Hugh Jackman would make a great Snake. He looks like him, as Wolverine

hugh jackman looks like a young clint eastwood, so that works.

also the packaging from the first game is famous because they literally copied a shot of Micheal Beihn from T1.

but this is all moot, as myself and TT spoke to Hideo, and he wants TT to play Emmerich and myself to play snake. i had to think about it, but i accepted.

As long as Uwe Boll doesn't get his hands on it I'll be happy.

I would say Jackman or Viggo Mortensen for Snake.
