    This is nothing new, but something I found a bit interesting while researching a patent for work. I stumbled across a patent filed in 1986 for G1 Megatron's design. Kind of cool.

    Interesting, I wonder who the little guy sitting on him is that they show in "cannon mode" and if he was ever produced. I may just have to set out to find a figure is scale with him to see what it looks like in person.

    Some very interesting alternate transformations too, cool

    The little guy will be a Microman figure. Megs' cannon mode was designed for a Microman to plug onto the connector and use it like a turret.

    I'll take a pic of it later.

    Awesome pic, Thanx Draven! Makes me want to get a Microman figure so I can have him defend my displays! I have Megs' cannon/turret assembly just hanging out being manned by universe Brushguard currently. The patent info is always interesting to glaze over.
