    I don't post here often.
I was sitting here watching the TF:86 movie with my 3 year old daughter, not the first time she's seen it but she hasnt asked me to change it or put it on her new fav show My little ponys.

She says she likes this movie. I've known she likes TFA, she doesnt care for Prime(Even though she said she wanted a "Blue Arcee" action figure) but overall I think I've made her a TF Fan.

I know this has been talked about before but I'm curious again to see for those of you with little ones in your life...

Are you creating little TF fans for the future?

Im also going to see if she like rescue bots as she has few.

    That's rather a personal question, isn't it? :D

I think my little minibuses think of Transformers as a thing Daddy likes. So they like it now, and later on they'll declare independence and get into something cool and rebellious like Jane Austen. :D

I don't have kids, but if I ever did, I would love to show them several shows. I would show them Beast Wars first, then after that, the G1 movie, seen as G1 is 98 episodes, it may be a bit too much for them at first. (I just hope after they watch G1, they don't go all trukk not munky on my ass) After they see Animated, Prime, Beast Machines, the animes and a bit more of G1, I'll show them the 2007 movie and they'll properly been blown away.

Thats if I have kids, fat change really. XP

my son was pretty much raised on TF. he's almost 5 and we just got the super god masterforce dvds. he loves them even more because the kids BECOME transformers.

id say he's in it for life.

he also likes gi joe, avengers, voltron, star wars, thundercats, lego atlantis, lego aliens, hero factory... (and of course stuff like winnie the pook, curious george, and other nonviolent childrens shows/movies.)

he DOES NOT watch TV though. he only watches the dvds. no commercials. :)

My daughter and I love watching Transformers together. G1, Beast Wars, Animated, Prime, you name it - it's a great Father/Daughter activity. We had a blast at Botcon last week.

I force my family to watch Transformers robot chicken style.

They constantly scream and cry but i think it's just from the drama of the show..hehe

I've tried! My two daughters start watching the '86 movie and as characters come on screen they keep pointing out the respective characters in my collection.....till they all die....then they get bored lol

Then they want either Adventure Time or Regular Show on.......which I oblige as they are both awesome :D

    My son is 2.

Can identify every poster and Optimus Prime in my room :)

Has some G1 stuff to play with along with some Legends and some knock off cheapies for fun.

    I'm trying

    This is amazing!
Friends, I admire you! Being a parent is a great work!
It's great that Transformers fanship is inherited! It's great when children and parents understand each other (my parents, for example, in horror from my fanship, in Russia people like me are very rare, so I'm doubly happy for your children)!
I believe that to be a fan of Transformers is a great happiness and honor, it makes us better. To raise new small fans is not only to keep franchise alive and growing , but also raise another good man!
Good luck and keep up the good work!

I tried with my little niece. She likes the cartoons but she just destroys the toys so I stopped giving her any a few years ago in favour of Power Rangers figures from car boot sales she can smash them all she likes.

Nowadays though it's nigh on impossible to get her head out of that damn Nintendo 3D thing when I babysit her. I had hoped she'd become a scientist because she used to read a lot, but now it's all mindless 'dit dit dit' on that dumb game thing and she gets stroppy when I take it away from her.

It's kind of hard not to influence my children when a large majority of my house is dedicated to Transformers memorabilia. My daughter always wants to come play with Daddy when I'm in my collection room, so of course she's constantly being exposed to it. Realistically though, it's up to her to decide if she's going to be a fan of this hobby. She certainly has an interest in it now!

No kids. But several of my friends have them and one must always get a Transformer from Auntie on his birthday and Christmas. I bought him his first one and he loved it.

He likes Sideswipe (All my doing) Bumblebee and Starscream.

I am so proud of the little munchkin.

I have a niece and herd of nephews.

I try to share my collection and appreciation of the TF with them. I fear though they've out grown me at 6 years old. The G1 cartoon is a hit. Animated is also liked. Armada, Energon and Headmasters were a big flop.

They like the bionicles and other trendy games/toys more. Le-Sigh.
