"Don't miss Paramount Pictures' ''100 Years of Movie Magic'' float in the 2012 Rose Parade which combines unforgettable moments and images from Paramount's past, present and future! Standing behind the Bronson Gate, Transformers’ Bumblebee plays the part of the studio’s protector!"

*No Mention of the Enterprise. Which is odd, since it's the centerpiece.*

You and me both. That's the one I grew up on. Best design of the original they ever came up with.

Am I the only one that finds it freaking hilarious that the Bumblebee model was not only based on a mistransformed Leader toy, but nobody realized it before or during the process they were making an 18 foot statue of it?

As much as I like it, The last time they did a float with the Enterprise (91) it was a little more detailed. Seems like BB tried to steal the show, and.. "You see what happens!?" -Side note, the ranger float "Samurai Power Rangers" was decent too.

    *Thanks for the N-Cred Shin m(_ _)m*

Aye, it is good to see the original in the forefront, it did look great. It is a thing of beauty, form, function and brilliant simplicity all rolled up in one.

Oh random thought, I just gotta say poor Enterprise-B no love, it is like the Enterprise that get shoved in a corner and forgot about at Starfleet family reunions :lol

All that being said, my absolute favorite, right there below this line, a real killer all wrapped up in sexy curves and lines :D

The float itself looks more like a half-assed Abrams-prise to me.

That and Bumblebee make me think the float-makers were using toys for their reference material.

According to one of the broadcasters, the float makers actually did use a BB toy as a reference point (not specified which one), having to dissassemble it for whatever reason.

But yeah, I do think it was stupid of them not to realize that maybe Bumblebee's arms should be higher up on his body instead of sticking out of his torso.

Talk about Bait and Switch. The Drawing shows the Original Enterprise, but the finished float has the Abrams one.

Funny, probably another one of those situations where some jabron didn't know the difference, got the order to make The Enterprise and saw the new one first and went with it. I actually didn't watch the parade or the clips. Oopsy.

Bumblebee doesn't look that great, but the float overall is very nice.

Should have copied one of the robot replica bumblebees or that incredibly detailed one from Japan.

Instead they went to a walmart and grabbed the first Bee they could get.

That Bumblebee looks like an up scaled version of the leader class.
