started doing him while waiting for paint to dry on another project and 2 days later this is the end result.all orange parts were lined with rustic brown, dark grey parts lined with black, and lighter grey parts lined with dark grey.i never actually noticed how much molded in details this guy had until i hit certain areas like the back or his tentacle things.

what sort of pens did you use? I use pigma microns whenever I panel line things.
excellent work! I'll have to try that when I get my unicron :)

Certain things I really prefer without a lot of panel lines; certain toys I like to see panel lined. This is one of the latter. Adding to the this is that you've made it look really nice. Great job! :thumb

I've been putting off lining up my TFs for so long. I think I might just go ahead with it after seeing this.

Unicron will have to wait though, as I plan on painting him.

It's always great to see people using colors other than black to panel line Transformers. People overuse black and it stands out too much on some toys, it's always better to be more subtle with the lines and color.

So this is just using a pen on the details, not a dry brush or anything?
