First off; great custom! I like the idea of using an endangered species as the basis for a transformer. If that doesn't catch people's attention, nothing will.
Secondly; I've got an idea for a name for your panda tf: Kun-Pao! As in "Kung-Pow!", get it? *chuckling* Please give the name "Kun-Pao" some consideration.

 

i would suggest a joint like the first Cheetor figure. where it folds the head down to face the ground.
