Hi guys, this is my first time posting my customs here. I hope you like it. PANDA TF I always wanted a Panda Transformer, and I checked the web and couldn't find any customized Panda Transformer. And TFs based on bears are rare... and the only ones that could fit the bill won't exactly look like a panda. So I took it upon myself to make one I named this as PAW-PAO for now since I wanted a Chinese sounding name that would pack a punch. Made from a TFA Snarl body and a bootleg bear transformer toy. (Btw, I'm not that sold to the name 'Paw-Pao' yet, maybe you can help me name this TF. ) I kept as much red and blue-gray from Snarl as I am comfortable with since I came into a problem that if I painted all the red colors into either white or black that the TF would look like a Panda both in Robot and Beast form (since Snarl's face has some cute-bear like qualities to it). He's a bit of a parts-former when it comes to transforming him to robot mode since the panda head needs to be placed on his back and it's a sizable solid piece. You can have it stay in it's peg but it would look something like this He retains the original toy's articulation and add a bit more since some of Snarl's plates were removed. He doesn't come with weapons now and it's too bad I don't have a miniature bamboo pole for him to use (though I tried with another action figure staff, but his arms can't be positioned to effectively use them). I'm working on an update to this now since I am not 100% comfortable with the head being a long backpack, I want to either make it into a transforming minicon or a weapon for the TF. Or if all else fails make the "backpack-head" less protruding when in robot mode. Thanks for looking!
Maybe make the head like a boxing glove or shield, but its your call. Now this is very creaive and well I sorta like it. So awesome job.
Aside from the red that's still showing (design choice??) he looks great! The third attached image is my fave!
This is pretty cool looking!! I like it a lot. As far as the head, as you eluded to, and also as Ezilla mentioned, I agree on making the head a weapon....maybe find a way to have it attach to one of the hands as a the weapon....that way he can either hold it as said weapon, or you can still "store" it on his back. None-the-less, that alone does not take away from thecool factor of your custom, as I already stated, I think its very cool
This makes me a happy Panda. I'm not sure of the name, but I know the Japanese Beast Wars series had a TF Polar bear. That would make a good one as well. But the numchucks and the articulation, very cool.
When I first saw the panda head in front in bot mode, I thought that needs to be moved higher cuz it looks... But seems you thought the same and moved it somewhere else entirely. I like it. You did a good job and I like the name Paw-Pao. PAW-PAO!!
I love it! Oh man, I am so making that! I like the name, but if you want other options, maybe Kuma Prime? BTW- does anyone remember the Pandatron art?

I like it... I really really like it!! I've always thought of Animated Snarl to be more like a cute, cuddly panda rather than an intimidating Dinobot Blargh! Now you made me want to get one too >_> As someone has stated, you could use the head as a shield of some sort, or place it on his shoulder like that Pandatron gif Personally, I'd just split it in half (it's sad, I know) and place both pieces on his shoulders, or just shorten the neck to make it sit on his chest rather than his manhood thinggy As for names, I kinda like Paw-Pao ^_^ (more like Pao-Pao for me) sounds cute and fitting for a cute tf Unless you want him to be more intimidating rather than a playful animal, you could name him Kuma or Prey-Mondo (Re-mondo or Rey-mon for short ) I like this 100%, you've done an excellent job
