Customs: Paints to use

    hey peoples, trying to find out what paint brands to use for customs.

    I use Revell and Humbrol enamels, never tried any other brands.

    testers. It's all i use, and i love it, but really any model paint is good. Just go to your local Michaels. The paint should be in the model section. There's also spray paint in the aisle thats really good for a full body repaint.

    Japan-imported Tamiya spraypaints hands-fucking-down!
    Not the domestic fake Tamiya though, i hear those suck.
    Of course, to get detailed looking figures like TonyzCustomz and Solrac, you'll have to "drybrush" over it. (go ahead, google that. we'll wait :lol  )

    No need to wait. Simply paint a coat of flat black then go back over it with silver (or whatever color you want) without fully covering and making sure the brush isn't soaking with the paint but drier (hence the name "dry brush"). Rhinox, obviously you know what I'm talking about, so I didn't quote you to answer you :lol
