I know it doesn't look perfect, but there's no rubbing and it makes it look a lot more opaque.
Nice job... I thought about doing this too. It may never match perfectly, but it sure beats clear blue forearms!!
That looks very nice.
Thanks guys c: Yeah unless we get some official red arms, this is as close as we're gonna get I supposed haha. Hopefully down the line they release a 'premium'ish version of it, hopefully with the unmasked face we've seen
I dig it!
If you hit that clear plastic with some dull coat or scuff it with a plastic
scrubbing pad, you can get the paint to stick really well if it is an oil
or "Solvent" based enamel. Just make sure to leave it alone for at lest a
day in a warm dry place to let it cure in.
I wonder how well Krylon fusion would set up on that clear blue.
Unmasked face would be awesome. I really hope they do that one... It would give us all a reason to buy one more Prime, or dare I say Orion Pax figure!!
In this guy's instruction sheet, it shows him without a mask, so it's bound to happen. Let's just hope he doesn't get some horrible gimmicky color scheme e.e
Looks pretty good.
Cant decide if I want this figure or not. I know the FE line was cancelled but I am hoping that sometime in the future they would re-release them.
Looks good. Can't help but looooove my 1st edition Prime. He may have cost a fortune but he was worth every penny compaired to this mold.
The FE is the better figure no doubt, but don't knock this one because it's -not- the FE. With a few simple paint apps it's a perfectly suitable Prime for your Autobots display, and just a fun figure all around.
Holy crap, your right!! I never saw it before, guess I didn't pay much attention to them as I went.
It's a pretty easy thing to miss haha
nice man it give it this clear but under stuff i like it
so wait did you disasemble the arm and then paint the inside of it or what? Iam confused sorry, but I love the turn out of how it looks!
Yehp, there's only 2 screws holding it to the solid red piece. Undo that and bam, done.
Huh. If I end up having to resort to this guy, that is definitely what I'm planning to do.
what did you use to paint the inside
