Any hints or tips on how best to avoid, or at least minimise, paint rub with customs? Seems like every time I move limbs or transform the ones I'm working on I have to repaint some parts - even after a coat of Future.

-Let the paint cure for a few days. I usually wait at least four until I reassemble completely. It also depends on the paint used. Acrylics are more prone to scratching, while lacquers and enamels are more durable.
-If two points are going to rub, if possible, lightly sand the spots with high grit sandpaper.
-Future isn't perfect, but it isn't bad. It's too thick for my taste. I prefer a matte fixative or matte clear coat.
